Jindie Nails: The Hungry Asian-Mint Condition

Today's post is a little late because I got my Glamour base from TKB trading & I've been tinkering around with my glitter & nail polish making today :).  Hopefully will have a cool one of a kind franken to post tomorrow.

I'm a sucker for good pictures and The Hungry Asian has some of the best pictures on Etsy IMO.  I bought 3 of her polish a couple of weeks ago.  I got Sneeze Breeze, Belle & Mint Condition.  They arrived neatly packaged with a bow and personal message from Kae aka The Hungry Asian.  Today's swatch will be of the Mint Condition.  This polish is adorable.  It's a creme finish & I got full opaque in 2 coats.  This beauty has small metallic, shiny blue, red, black and purple hex glitters all in the same size.  I thought the creme finish would cover the small glitter but I was wrong!  This polish applies easily, dries fast and layers very well.  I haven't seen another polish even close to this one but I probably haven't seen them all.

I love a good Tiffany blue color and this one is that, but even better because it has glitter too :)!  Actually, Mint Condition's base color is pretty much a dead on dupe of China Glaze For Audrey.  Pictured below is ONE coat of China Glaze For Audrey...because it's just that good :).  For Audrey is a winning polish all across the board.  Mint Condition is close to Nubar Blue Raspberry as well.  I put some comparison photos below so you all can see.  Tiffany blue is one of my favorite polish colors and Mint Condition is the perfect Tiffany blue and just gorg!  I photographed Mint Condition after one coat, two coats then three with a coat of Seche.  I took a trillion and one pictures as usual, some with flash, some without.  I did this swatch at night so I wasn't able to provide outside pictures in sunlight.  Please excuse my dry cuticles, they've never been through so much polish change!  You can purchase this polish at The Hungry Asian's Etsy shop here for $9.25 plus shipping: http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheHungryAsian.   I just checked and she is out of this polish as of right now.  Not sure when she will have more, just convo her.  Enjoy :)!

Jindie Nails: Darling Diva Polish-Cherry Jubliee MLP Collection

Today I have a polish from Darling Diva Polish called Cherry Jubilee I want to share.  Last night I swatched several colors on my fresh gel mani so my cuticles took a beating :(.  Please excuse my dry cuticles.

This polish is soooo amazing!  It has a milky white jelly base, easy to apply, dries fast and just plain great!  No fishing necessary with this one.  Every dip of the brush I got so much glitter and the glitter layers very well with the different dimensions shining through with each coat.  I got full opaqueness in 3 coats. The polish is part of Darling Diva Polish My Little Pony collection.  The Etsy shop owner (cerealkiller1) is super nice and great with customer service.  This is very important to me & I will continue to be a customer.  I purchased this one, Twilight Sparkle & Lovely Lilacs glitter top coat.  All three did NOT disappoint.  I have a separate review of Lovely Lilacs here: http://handsonnailpolish.blogspot.com/2012/07/indie-polish-brand-darling-divas-polish.html

I would definitely buy this polish again.  I have some other DD polish on my wish list I am going to get asap!

Jindie Nails: Kaylin's Kandy Shop handmade by me (sorry Deb lol)

This is totally off subject but when you guys are on your laptop & the battery is about to die & if you don't get to the charger really quick, you are going to lose all the things you were just in the middle of.   Do you guys feel like there's a bomb about to explode if you don't make it to the detinator (charger) on time lol? I totally do every time with an the panic sensation & the whole nine.  This just happened again and I had to laugh at myself...thought I'd share.

Anyways...Happy FOURTH OF JULY WHOO HOO! I'm going to be doing Fourth of July mani's today on myself and a bunch of little girls in my family today, exciting :)!  Of course I will take plenty of pictures as usual.  Party, cookout and fireworks tonight!!!

I wanted to share some pictures of a polish  I made for a friend of our family's little girl Kaylin.  I named it Kaylin's Kandy Shop (sorry Deb lol).  You will all see why I called it that when you see the pictures.  It's bubble gum pink with all solvent resistant, non-bleeding (tested) small & large matte red hex glitters, grape colored large matte hex glitter, small metallic shiny lavender hex glitter & short metallic shiny blue bar glitter all in custom blended from red & white pigments, 3-free luster base to the perfect bubble gum pink semi-sheer base.   These were Kaylin's four favorite colors: Pink, purple, blue and red.  I think I did good blending those colors together for her one of a kind nail polish :)!
