Jindie Nails: Darling Diva-Lovely Lilacs & Essie-Lilacism

Here are a few pics of Darling Diva Polish color Lovely Lilacs.  It's great as a top coat over any light green or light purple colors.  I have mine over Essie Lilacism.  Lovely Lilacs applied well but needs 3 coats to achieve the look in the pictures.  It dried fast and was easy to work with.  No fishing required to get good amount of glitter.  My square glitters are curling a little on the ends but I personally don't have a problem with this at all.  I think it makes it look better.  Pictured below is 3 coats of Lovely Lilacs, 3 coats Essie Lilacism, 1 coat Seche Vite top coat.  All of the pics with 3 coats of each polish have 1 coat of Seche Vite top coat.  When I make the pictures extra large, they become a little fuzzy.  I will try to figure out how I can get large pictures to look super clear.

As a side note here, Essie Lilacism was a real pain in the rear to apply. It was so thick that I added almost 20 drops of thinner with little change in consistency, boo :(!

Jindie Nails: My new handmade polish-first cut

Here's a sneak peak of a handmade polish I've been testing this week for bleeding glitter.  It takes awhile to test because you have to add each glitter color separately, wait a couple of days to see if it bleeds, add the next color etc.  It has a pure white semi sheer base with large shiny metallic spring green, shiny metallic royal blue & flat black hex glitters & smaller shiny metallic spring green hex glitter right now.  I expect full opaque finish in 2-3 coats with this one but will test it once its finished.  Once I'm finished adding all the colors I want to add I'll name it (you all can help me). None of the glitter is bleeding, so far so good :)!

Jindie Nails: Harmony Gelish gel polish-Copacabana Banana!

This is Gelish gel polish color Copacabana Banana with Konad zebra stamp plate #M57.  I love the Gelish polish colors.  This one is very sheer and needs about 3-4 coats for full opaque finish.  This is 4 coats.  When I do my Gel polish with stamp art, I always seal off the color with Gelish UV Top Coat, then stamp.  If you wait to do the top coat after stamping and mess up on your stamp (and you most likely will) it messes up the gel polish finish.  Apply Seche Vite or a similar good top coat over stamp art after you are satisfied with your stamp.  With the Konad Special Polish in black (shown here) it is a mess to remove and gets everywhere! It stains your fingers and nails pretty bad.  The upside to using the Konad Special Polish is that it's highly pigmented and shows up waaay better than just plain nail polish.  I will post more about the different polish colors, brands etc that I have used trying to stamp and which ones don't work well & which ones do.  Stay tuned, goodnight!
